Night at the Theatre

A few weeks ago, our home for our kids now over 18, had a very special night away. Luisa and the adult kids, together with Tio Brian, Tia Terry, and big sis Kim went to see a local play. Luisa shared that the kids were very excited to go out on an adventure. She shares some photos of the experience.

The play was about a celestial call center and was both thought provoking and profound, as well as light hearted and fun. The devil himself came out to take a seat next to Tia Terry for part of his dialogue!

Luisa felt the best part was Yenni dancing to the music. Kim observed that Checha seemed to engage and enjoy himself. And Biran saw that Ale and Brayan really seemed to enjoy the play as well. To be sure, those of us back home were quite thrilled to see the photos and videos! We all love watching the kids, (and adults) thrive while being included in events such as this.

All told, it was a lovely evening despite challenges such as transporting 6 adults with special needs plus crew! Luisa said despite the challenges, this is the kind of activity they would love to do more. Appropriate inclusion is so essential in Guatemala, and really across the world.
